A have noticed that it is often peopel such as builders with protective boots on, a hi- viz jacket and sometimes even a helmet. They often have amask but its under there chin! Its odd as they obviously after wear PPE at work but feel sellfish enough to put shoppers at risk
The workmen are probably too preoccupied with getting their lunches and returning to work to think about using face masks, unlike the dawdlers who are tootling about, having a mooch around the shop and, no doubt, stopping to exchange idle chit chat with other moochers.

They wear PPE at work because it stops them getting injured as a result of their activities and in many cases they would not be allowed to work without it. It's doubtful they can see any benefit from wearing a face covering in the petrol station as they pick up their sandwich and, as mentioned above, I expect they have more pressing matters to occupy their minds.
Well sherard- a mentioned the other week about one who had shorts, hiviz jacket, pit boots and helmet and mask under his chin who had the time to stand chatting telling staff and customer's to watch the youtube Plandemic video and how it was all a con, a made up virus and we were all sheep for wearing masks. He may not be typical but if they have a mask under there chin they cant be to busy to hitch it up a couple of inches
Doesn't really bother me. I wear mine out of habit now. Supposed to be a cheap disposable blue one but I have had the same one for weeks. It Lives on the back seat of my car.
A think your struggling here to defend things that shouldnt be defended. Tho it may explain the sentences some criminals get from judges if your way of thinking is typical of judges now
Well Bobinwales, if you feel that strongly about it, your should probably speak directly to the offending people - should have more of a direct result that airing your angst on an Internet forum.
If a shop and the goverment says you need to wear one its a pathetic excuse to say they have more pressing matters. It wouldnt work as an excuse if they were not wearing a seatbelt when driving or were to busy to put a cigarette out when getting on a plane.

I'm not defending them. I putting forward my explanation for what is happening. I imagine that those concerned are of the opinion that if people believe that face coverings worn by others "keep them safe" they would be even safer if they simply kept away from everybody else. You can't rely on other people to keep you safe and it is foolish to pretend that you can.
