I do so hope the stupid panic buying will not commence, again.

I only buy on a weekly basis what we need. Main items are wine and cat food, I can buy the rest locally but more expensive.

There will be some panic buying I'm sure of it, but hopefully most people will see sense AND it's only for four weeks (hopefully)!
There should be no difference to the essential shops as a result of the latest edict. They, and their suppliers, have made all the necessary arrangements to ensure their business can continue "safely." However.....
I was in Morrisons and Aldi this morning and there was no evidence of panic buying, the loo roll looked a bit down but there was plenty of pasta and flour.
Why do people call it "panic buying"? Nobody I've seen stocking up is in the slightest panic.
I was shopping just now. Not too busy. I didn’t look at the loo roll aisle, but there were lots of people in the alcohol aisle. The frozen food department looked a bit bare.
I could hardly get into Sainsbury's for the stacks of loo rolls near the entrance yeterday. But the caviar shelves did seem to have been stripped bare.
