Our local pub is doing the same. Very sad for business.
Won't they all be closed as from tomorrow? If so I suppose it's better to flog off as much as they can or it goes down the drain. I'm glad my son is no longer driving drays.
Yes, it is better to sell it than to throw it away, Retro - but it would be better still if they could stay open.
As Retro says. Better than tipping it away.
At least the government has done another U-turn (no surprises there!) and decided that people can order booze with their takeaway from the pub.

Agreed Naomi. The wife has gone out ,again for lunch with her friend, to a Grumpy Badger Pub/outlet to make the most of it before they are locked down. Technically,I suppose she shouldn't. Yesterday when she booked up she was asked if she lived with her friend and my wife told them they were sisters. When she got their it was blatantly obvious that most of the patrons were not related or in 'the same bubble'. Still I suppose the landlord has to ask. Farcical.
And? You can but booze from your local shop, supermarkets, Amazon.
Wetherspoons .Thursday 5th November 2020. A Day of Infamy. :-(
