No doubt that yoga has a lot of health benefits and many yoga poses are sometimes prescribed for some diseases. But, do you keep doing your yoga routine when you are sick?

OK, I'll keep talking. If you have a cold but still feel energetic it's no problem. If however you have a fever and feel as though you have a fluey type virus I don't recommend it. Your body generally lets you know. If you are really sick you don't want to do any exercise anyway.

Thanks Yogasun, I think that makes sense. When I just get a cold I also keep my yoga routine and normally I even feel better after doing it. I usually choose less physically demanding asanas though.
