Fifty years ago they put men on the moon.

This week they can't even arrange a satisfactory presidential election.

Mind you they did have a very dodgy President in office on that occasion too. But at least he had the dignity to depart when exposed, unlike the rabble-rousing current occupant who is inciting violence throughout the land of the free.

Slightly different circumstances I think you'll find.

Trump is crying foul because he wants to beklieve that the nation love him, and inly voting fraud lost him the election, and he'll hang around and fight it out.

Tricky Dicky was caught being bang to rights as he was - a crook, so he had no choice but to go.
