I may be weird - "there's no may be about it," says Lie-in King, with a wicked grin - but from the snippets I've heard, Cliff's new album doesn't sound too bad!...just a passing thought!..."keep on passin'," enthuses Lie-in King, head in hands!...but the teeth are against him at times. Take Care All and give the vacci geniuses a chance!
if infinite monkey keep tapping away at infinite typewriters one of them will turn out Shakespeare .... and if Cliff goes on singing for 8000 years (as he probably will) some of the songs will turn out okay. Personally, I thought Travelling Light was his best, but that was a while ago now.
Sorry to disagree but I think Cliff's new album is very good. Saw him in concert in 2018 and he was great, he has boundless energy and I think his voice is as good as ever, if not better. That's my opinion but I've been a fan since he started out in the fifties.
BTW, Cliff's album is number three in the charts and it's been reported he's the first artist to have an album in the top five in eight consecutive decades. Someone must agree with me!
Not listened to much Cliff (personal choice and sensory protection) but just gave the first track a whirl (Falling for you?).
Does he always sing as though he has a protruding jaw with a slight drool, or is one too many facelifts finally having an even more detrimental effect.
