I agree 100% with Tora in his first post. A massive plan for public transport is needed. Unless cable-less charging is feasible in 10 years time there are hundreds of thousands of homes which, without trailing cables over pavements of down the side of a high rise block, wont be able to charge their vehicles at home.
I think 10 years is ambitious.
Watch out for people holding on to their cars for much longer than they used to in 10 years time. Well, until garages start shutting down or converting to 90% electric.
