I dont mind paying a little but I dont want a free trial, I will rarely use it so reluctant to pay too much for it.

A lot depends on what it is you want the Aotocad System for and what your system will support. Some of these Autocad programmes need gaming level system specs. If you are running a windows machine there is a cheap and cheerful Master Autocad programme for a very reasonable £4.99. You will need to be running Windows 10, version 10240.0 or higher. There are other Microsoft apps available even a free one (if you scroll down) called "Free CAD 3D Modelling".
