I usually LOVE Xmas,we always have a real tree. I love decorating the house. We alternate every year with my in laws - one year at their house, next year our etc etc.
But this year, well teen smow moved out last week and he is actually working all of Xmas day so won’t see him. With lockdown the in laws prob won’t be able to come over, so it will just be us two..........
Not feeling it this year... haven’t even bought a single present... :(

I have a very pleasant quiet day with my sister. I am not sad, I do decorate a bit but my best bit is finding gifts for my friends and family.
Here's an interesting story about a Christmas tree and it's occupant: https:/ /www.bb c.com/n ews/wor ld-us-c anada-5 4996314
I don't buy presents....makes it so simple. I'll cook the food and if we're elsewhere I'll do the dishes.
We don't want or need anything so my thing is don't stress over it. If I see something my mother might really like on a random day, I'd buy it and send it to her for absolutely no reason whatsoever. It's a nicer surprise imo than it being a bit forced.
I dislike xmas...not the family time, I love that, the pressure it puts on people.
