When asking say,,, google- for chat sites type in a hobby you like ( if you have one) and see if that helps?

Go to Yahoo Dominoes and play dominoes you can chat while you play and if you don',t play domonoes there are plenty more games to choose from.I have met a few nice people there but same as any chat place you still have to be careful.Hope this helps.And it is free.
