Has anyone used Destinationholidays.com?
I am tempted to book a holiday to Tenerife through this website, but they want the full cost of the holiday when you book. I have never heard of this before, usually you pay a deposit and then the remainder later. Has anyone actually used destinationholidays.com before and were they ok?

Its only if you book through a travel agency that you may not have to pay the full sum at once. If you are booking the hotel on its own, then usually the hotel's website may ask for your credit card details to confirm reservation but without taking the money out until you chekc out of the hotel.
I often book with Expedia/lastminute.com/octopustravel/hotels.com and they also expect full payment. Read the terms and conditions before you commit to anything, to find out how much money you stand to lose in case of cancellation.
