Just popped to local spa shop for paper, bread and bits and bobs for next door.
Passed a solicitors office on way back with 6 cars on forecourt. Presumably staff or clients, but in any event presumably members of different households.

Why then is it more dangerous and indeed illegal for different household members to meet at work but not in each others homes. I would suggest that homes are safer than office buildings.

You don't all sit on the same sofa in a workplace, you won't be in the same room for extended periods unless you share an office in which case you would probably wear masks,

did you see inside the building? Those people could have been socially distanced, separated by screens, working in different rooms and so on.

I said it wrong,lol. I would have thought that a couple of hours in a relatives house was safer than 8 hours in an office.

Just put perspex screes up in the home to divide a three seater settee into three cubicles, and an absolute ban on more than one person in the kitchen and your home would be a bit safer.

Well I see your point Sparkly. I go into the office and sit with the same 5 people round a table for a morning meeting everyday, we are distanced but we don't wear masks as company policy is we are in the same bubble (and note mask wearing at work has not been made compulsory by the government). We also all go into each others' offices through the day. I only put a mask on if I go into another section.
However we are not allowed to go out for a Xmas meal together as a group.

I should think that Solicitors are quite safe regardless. If the virus attacks one of em they will sue the watsits off it, so it is wisely keeping away.

It’s all getting ridiculous. Boy #2 can catch a bus to sixth form college, sit in the same room as maybe 30 others for 3 hours at a time but we have been informed the police can fine him if he socialises with more than one other person on his walk there and back or during lunchtime.
