"Lay off the super strenght Contrarian pills me old china they are making you look a right wally"

TTT, the question in 1979 was,

"Do you want the provisions of the Scotland Act 1978"

That is the one that had the 40% threshold.

That is the only Scottish Referendum I mentioned.

It was the 1997 Referendum that had the two questions not the one in 1979.

Who's the wally now?
ok I thought you meant the 1997 one, anyway you are still wrong, from wikipedia;
" During the passage of the Scotland Act 1978 through Parliament, an amendment introduced by Labour MP George Cunningham added a requirement that the bill had to be approved by 40% of the total registered electorate, as well as a simple majority (50% + 1).[2]"
So there was a minimum turnout parameter but the vote was still a binary choice. So for example if 51% voted yes, for it to count you'd need an 80+% turnout. Your wallyness index is growing me old china.
Wonders whether to file TCL under ignorant or a bit Tim nice but....
Is that really the best you could come up with? Go on, have another go.

Something you asked for a while ago, I have only just found a link but don't forget.

He wants to run (rule?) Europe without the approval of say...Scotland.
roy: "He wants to run (rule?) Europe without the approval of say...Scotland." - If they leave the UK and in the unlikely event they are accepted into the EUSSR they'll, not be approvers they'll be little more than Guy's play things.
More ramblings, who knows what like the EU will be in the future?
He is telling you what it will be like.
What's the latest on his proposals?
You ask for the evidence and I provide the evidence but then you just simply dismiss the evidence.

Will you be moving back to Scotland if they gain independence?
