Got everything I went out for and got back without mishap and even did a good deed in one of the shops.

Excellent LJ,I went out as well today , Centre wasn't busy at all, did what I had to do and hopefully that's it now for Christmas

I’ve just got home from a trip to local shopping centre. I got everything I needed and it was not busy at all....result!

Me too, I left it late deliberately and it paid off.
Of course I don’t know what it was like this morning.

We're lucky enough to be in Tier 2 so we went out for lunch today, which was a real treat.

The town was quiet and I popped into the Post Office for stamps, and a book shop for a gift. The bigger town however was reporting long queues for the shopping centre car park and at Primark which opened at 7am.

All done for me now apart from the wrapping and a hair cut!

Dave and I have a new lockdown game. When someone posts something like....I did a good deed in a shop....we each put a euro on the table and bet on how long it takes Sqad to answer.... :-)

Margie - I was walking down one isle when large man in front of me stopped and dropped everything he was carrying. Asked if he needed help and said he had a heart condition. Went to find assistant for a chair and then got a trolley to put everything in. waited until he felt better and then went and found his friend to help him through checkout and to car. He did thank me.
