If pubs clubs restaurants opened all over the UK. There's been that many losing their jobs, and many many been getting by all year on 80% of their normal income, and many many, may be still waiting for government assistance. So the question is, wheres the money coming from to spend in these places, even if there open?

Are they, teacake? I haven't heard them.... either way... there are plenty of jobs around. You only need to walk to your nearest Carehome, and they will (sadly) probably take you.
You may be, zacs :-). I'm pointing out that all workers, anywhere have had unprecedented help this year.

Other than care homes, ( if that's true) were are there plenty of jobs?
'You may be, zacs :-)'

i'd have a re-read of the OP and teacakes most recent posts which are ALL to do with hospitality.
why are the unemployment figures rising exponentially,
so is my link
Other than? Why is that not good enough?
Zacs... I know.... but the laws, grants, furloughs.... are the same for everyone.
Question Author
Why is that not good enough? well no not really we are talking millions more out of work, I don't see millions of adds for workers in any industry? and certainly not the care home business.
Yes i know they're the same, pix, but as i've pointed out, none of the schemes, on their own, would enable a hospitality business to survive.
You aren't looking, are you? I don't know about "millions"- it's possible. But while there are so many vacancies desperately needed, it's a little pointless to worry about people not working. The choice is there.
No, maybe not zacs... I have said that 80% plus might not be enough to continue a struggling business. But also, that they are all getting far more help than people seem to realise.
why is unemployment beginning to rise?
Businesses such as shops, bars, travel and entertainment companies have had to close because of coronavirus lockdowns. Many have decided that they can't afford to keep all their workers, and have them redundant.

That is why there was a record number of redundancies - 370,000 - in the period from August to October.
Question Author
The choice is there?? where?
i copied and pasted that but there was a whole lot more. and those figures will have risen since october
Teacake.... ring around all your local carehomes... and then please come back and tell me if there are any vacancies.
i thought teacake worked in hospitality.
