Thought I’d nip on and let you know I’m still here.

Just been busy with work and wedding stuff, not long to go now.

Health wise I’m smashing things out of the ball park FINALLY got my diabetes in line after telling my consultant I wasn’t doing what he wanted - full support of my Nurse too!

Thank you Wolfgang! I’m dropping my average blood readings 2-3% a week.

I had the eye hospital yesterday, all my abnormal vessels have stabled and aren’t bleeding or growing. It’s taken a long time but I’m so happy!

Aww thank you, it’s a great feeling being in control!

I’m not back on shift Lady J until Sunday. I’m knackered as we can’t have 2 staff members on at Christmas at the moment, so as you can imagine it’s pretty heavy going.

Wedding stuff is stressful. But it will be worth it.

My advice is to try and savour every minute of your wedding day. It goes by in a blink. One minute you are putting your gown on; the next you are saying goodbye at 2am from a lacy satin knackered heap!!!

It really is BM.

But to be fair Covid has made it a little easier and it will be a more intimate affair. I wish that I could but will all be over by about 8pm :( but planning a big do for 2022 when I might be saying that!
