Stained Chair

Schoolboy error.

I put some cream on my back, didn't put a shirt on, sat in a blue fabric chair, and managed to transfer a fair bit of cream onto the fabric!

Get hold of some isopropyl alcohol - it dissolves/disperses fats/oils of all kinds and more besides such as the active sticky stuff on adhesive tapes, labels, etc. You may find it difficult to source easily off the local shelf but I know it is available on eBay.

Personally I’d have a go with a dilute solution of warm water and biological washing powder/laundry liquid first. That’s what’s just removed a stain and smell from something our dog discharged from his bum on to a sofa cushion. If it’ll get rid of that, it’ll get rid of anything!

Given it a scrub with some warm water and washing powder.

First result very good. Leaving it to dry out now. i’ll post pics when dried.
