Very calm here, a bit breezy last night but that's all,

No Sunday dinner here today ,had two in a row so maybe a big of Freezer Bingo for us ,I think that's the festivities done here also, never have gone for NY and stuff, I've seen the day we've queued to get in our local pub at 6 pm on NYE , that stopped after the pubs got greedy and started charging way back 20 years ago with the millennium , usually opt for a Chinese or Indian takeaway now, anyway, there's no pubs to go to anymore :0/

Been very wet and windy here in far SW.
Damage to trellis which I have been out to repair with plastic tie thingies.
Dry and ok now - have been for short walk.

Sunny in my part of Devon also. But yesterday...and overnight...it was blowing a gale! I had difficulty getting to sleep, and a window that was only just off the catch went flying open. Then slammed shut. The second time it happened, I locked it closed.

Its lovely and sunny now but it blew a hoolie during the night, kept setting off my Ring doorbell as it thought it was detecting people as big items such as bins sailed by.

It was raining heavily and wind was howling during the night. It's been very sunny since it cleared this morning though.

The forecast was for a foul day, so last night I decided not to do my walk this morning.
This morning it was lovely and sunny, not raining and not windy. I did my walk and it was glorious. No rain all day.

So as far as I am concerned, Bella was over hyped and a non event.
