Many moons ago (80's), I had a Spectrum computer and played a game called Mordon's Quest. It was an 'adventure' game. Does anyone know if it's possible to download or buy this game on PC format?

You can download it from here ... http://baf.wurb.com/if/game/1080

it's the .exe file ...you'd probably need an emulator ....can't help you there

Thats the Commadore 64 version by the looks, you can probably get the Spectrum emulator & game from Rom Nation (google it).

Once you have the emulator & game, start the emulator and open the game in it.
