Decs put away, hoovering done and Lola has her favourite seat back at the window to people watch although rarely any of them pass, my phobia of birds hit a all time high before when I was taking the lights off the window ( floor to ceiling window ) when a freakin huge pheasant walked over the lawn and stood staring at me , I panicked like hell, phew!!

Bobbisox - we have something in common! I too have a bird phobia (dead or alive) - I can cope with seeing them through the window as long as they don't actually crash into it but if a bird comes anywhere near me in the garden I turn into a jibbering wreck!

LJ, don't be daft, you've said absolutely nothing wrong man, I hope your day gets better, sometimes we wake up feeling at odds with the world xx
Feeling weak and breathless. Will just have to get on with it. Thanks.
p.s. I'm really not a man. lol.
I would have been over the moon to see a pheasant so close up, poor thing was probably hungry. I hope someone else saw it and fed it.
As for taking tree down. I didn't have one, so none to take down, but I had a candle arch in the window and various bits and bobs scattered about and the house looks so bare without them now. I feel sad at this time of year when all the lights and decorations come down everywhere. They brighten up the dark, dull evenings.
I thought this thread was about Christmas decorations? Oh well! My mother didn't put the decorations up until Christmas Eve, and took them down on Jan 6th - The Twelve Days of Christmas, the first day being December 25th.
^ It's in chatterbank, what's your point ??
