As for the “good” Assange did, we also know a lot about Russian mischief in its backyard thanks to his abetting the Manning theft of US diplomatic cables. Such theft as well as being illegal inhibits the vital flow of confidential diplomatic channels.
But theft it is.
The reason I don’t support his extradition is because the charges of treason (if that’s what they are) feel odd aimed at an Australian citizen. The chief culprit is already behind bars. All this will do is undeservedly raise his already overblown status in the minds of the gullible
