Trump Not Finished Yet
While he has less than two weeks before he vacates the White House - expect a very long list of presidential pardons to be announced within 24 hours of his departure.
Some are suggesting that besides the list including family, friends and other crooks who have assisted him, he could add himself to the list. But quite how you pardon yourself without being convicted of anything is a mystery to me.

Pre-emptive pardons are, apparently, legitimate -- the Nixon pardon was one such -- but they are also a tacit admission of guilt. Personal pardons are less clear-cut. I don't see how they can be constitutional, or even moral for that matter. Pardoning yourself is more or less the textbook example of Divine Right, ie something absolute monarchs "can" do but nobody else can. I'm sure a Court would agree. Trump is welcome to try and pardon himself, but he will in all probability fail.
It's also worth mentioning that a Presidential Pardon is only possible for federal crimes, so Trump could still be charged with crimes in various States if it came to that.

“ One of many things America needs to possibly rethink is this thing of the outgoing potus being able to pardon any criminal willy nilly. I can't see any good reason for it.”
In “The Border” by Don Winslow there’s a character imprisoned on a full life term for medium scale drug offences. He’s a “good” God-fearing man who’s ended up on the wrong side of the tracks through being manipulated by unscrupulous people.
He has written to President Obama consistently asking for a review of his case and a presidential pardon. He knows that once President-elect “Dennison” (ahem) takes office his chance will be gone.
On the day of the inauguration his pardon comes through.
That is what this SHOULD be used for.

pardon me - no one is quite sure
it clearly isnt a world pardon - and may only apply to fed crimes. Thee are a few state indictments waiting for him for which the pardon doesnt work
Nixon 1973 certainly thought he cdnt pardon himself - and his appointed success Gerald Ford ( the only non elected pres etc) which cost Ford HIS re election.
Trumps view of presidential executive privilege ( that he cd do anything at all) I think has had its day. Purely on the idea of "oh we tried that"
current view is that trump certainly IS accountable for his actions

For many years now there's always been a worry of a nutter in charge of a big red button. We now have one, he's walking round an empty house, deserted by many of the people that supported him, cut off from his social media site, most of his toys have been thrown from the pram. Whats happening, very little at the moment because the powers that be are following the law of the land, Trump decided to ignore all the laws of the land, so before its to late they need to act now, for get the laws, you are dealing with a nutter, go in and arrest him, and lock him away NOW, and sort the rest later.
