I'm sure there are many talented female politicians all over the world, who quietly and competently do their jobs without too much fanfair.

The likes of Elizabeth Warren, Condoleezza Rice, Nancy Polosi in the US and Betty Boothroyd, Margaret Beckett and Harriet Harmon had had long and largely succussful careers, regardless of out personal opinions of their politics.

Indira Gandhi was Indian PM for over a decade. Love them or hate them, both Angela Merkel and Nicola Sturgeon have had hugely successful careers.

so many of the countries that have proved best at dealing with Covid have been run by women: Tsai Ing-wen, Mette Frederiksen, Jacinda Ardern, Sanna Marin and even Angela Merkel (Germany's death rate is about a third of Britain's). Any of those would do me, and if Biden's found women of that calibre for his cabinet, good for him.
