i wonder that anyone will be going to do much at all, i know we need something to look forward to, and Boris predicting this and that doesn't help matters. Can just see more of the same.

My mother (85) got COVID last month, she had no symptoms (she got tested after my brothers girlfriend tested positive) but after quarantine she became ill and ended up in hospital with a blood clot in her lung. They don’t know if it was COVID related,
all seems to be going well and she is getting home on Monday.

We've light nights, budding trees and daffodils to look forward to Emmie ,I quite like the dark nights but in what is almost a year of restrictive movement on us , I'm looking forward to Spring now x

yes spring is coming. my bulbs are all showing. Yesterday I received a new plant. Its a really old grapevine. When they renew vineyards, instead of just trashing the old vines, they now prune them hard, pot them up and sell them. the trunks are beautiful, thick old and gnarled and they make nice specimen plants even if you don't grow them as bonsai.

one can go out and meet one person as far as i know, so will meet friend tomorrow providing the rain holds off, its grey and dull up here right now, but sun is trying to come out. Had my food shop delivered this morning, so that's done for the week.
