Is there any special talent or ability thing you wish you had inherited from one of your parents?

Mine is that I wish I could sew half as well as my mother did. She wasn't just good but something extra. All her sisters and brothers could sew as well but it seems to have died out with the next generation.

I inherited my Dad's sense of humour and pranks he would play on me.
Unfortunately I didn't inherit my Mums skills as a dressmaker and knitter. Used to love going to Lewis's ( big department store in Manchester ) with her to choose dress patterns and materials and wool and knitting patterns, then we would go and have a hot frothy Horlicks at a bar where they made them specially. Very fond memories.
