Gas Provider Change Without My Knowledge
5 Answers
I had a call from Scottish Gas this morning on my answerphone asking me to give them my readings. As I have not changed my provider, I am at a loss to understand why they are ringing me. It was prerecorded and they do not have my bank details. Anyone else had one of these, guess I just ignore it. Thanks.

Thanks for your comments, I’ve been with British Gas for years and Scottish Gas have no details on me. I can only think that somehow or another the number on their computer for phone contacts have been transposed and this is why they are ringing me, happened twice now last week and today with a prerecorded message asking for latest meter readings. I’ll ignore unless I suddenly get a bill through the door, although how they would work it out would be interesting.
