Post-partum hair loss or nits?

My scalp is driving me nuts. I have been through it with a fine tooth comb (quite literally) but can't find anything. My daughters clear, (2 and half years old and not at nursery yet either). However I have also just had another baby girl 4 months ago, and I remember quite clearly experiencing exactly the same itching precisely 4 months after having my first daughter.

As I understand it, the hair loss you experience after childbirth is around the 12-14 week mark, has anyone else experienced itching with the hair loss also?

As previously said, I can find nothing (and I know what I'm looking for), my scalp doesn't look sore but it feels sore and itchy.

I have no idea about hair loss but I had an itchy scalp which was driving me totally mad. I tried Head and Shoulders shampoo and conditioner for itchy scalp daily and it sorted my problem within a week. May be worth a try.
