Hotmail into Outlook

Is there anyway to get my Hotmail acct to route into Outlook so I can use it like I use my work emails please?

Well I have one hotmail account that I use through outlook but when I tried to set up another hotmail account to do the same I got a message come up saying that it no longer supports outlook, or something to that effect.

I had the same, very easy to set up hotmail to use outlook but when I tried to do it for mrs turbo a message came from hotmail telling her she would need to upgrade her account.

Open outlook, go to tools/e-mail accounts and follow the wizard.

I've run the wizard thing but nothing seems to be showing up....am I being dense....? Should you be able to see all your old mails in the hotmail acct? Even tried sending a test and it appeared in the hotmail.com site but not in Outlook. thanks for help....

It all depends, newer hotmail addresses (eg.hotmail.co.uk) can only be used on the FULL version of outlook and not outlook express, you would need a hotmail.com address for that.

PS I know you say outlook in your message but am presuming you may mean outlook express as you would not have any problems otherwise.

No it is Outlook not Outlook Express.

I have never used this Outlook to send an email - is there some sort of registration that I have to do first? And I have a hotmail.com email address.

In Outlook, the word 'hotmail' appears in the list of folders, but when I click on the + there is no content......
