Windows Live Messenger

..Can any users of this program tell me which is the latest version?
I am using Version 8.0 Build 8.0.0792.00 which I thought was the latest but when I sign in I get the messege that a later version is available............ maybe it's a new beta eh?

my kids have updated to windows live messenger. as far as i can see there is no major difference. you can have more background colours. i do have an msn a/c and when i use it i dont notice much difference. not much help i know !!

Thanks Mav.......decided to go for the update.........don't see much difference at the moment but the build version is now

8.0.812.0.............so it has updated, might see some difference when I do a video link with the grandkids later on.........

Windows live messanger makes me barf. move back to 7.5. Its soo much less complex!!!

I must agree in a lot of ways MT but as the only thing I really use is the Video link (which is now maybe a little better than 7.5 I don't get bogged down in all the features so maybe I'll stick with the upgrade............thanks for the imput.
