my back been a problem since i was 40, very stiff back, so putting socks on has been a problem for years.

you've forgotten the eighth - the worms and bugs eat them for their supper off you.
The next age is where they may be worn into lace-like holes and binned. Socks not feet.
Obviously not seen my feet ladyj...
I'm some where between 4 and 5...don't dare try to stand on one leg, and don't need to sit. So I bend over...
Vagus - eerrr no. Not had that pleasure yet.
