In the absence of the great man and his girl Friday Minty
I'll say on their behalf, a very good morning to you, it's very frosty here this morning and very slippy , temps no more than -1 all day so I won't be going out even if I could :0/
Boaty and Minty if your looking in, botha get well soon xxx
morning bobbi, theland has sort of put a post out, but nay mind.
can you go out at all, to meet up with a friend, that's allowed - i am supposedly meeting a mate later but does depend on what the weather does. it doesn't look promising at the moment
Smo, Minty has Long Covid and at the moment has a nasty chest infection and is laid up with that
Lcg, good for you, I've not long been up myself
Emmie as far as I know you can meet with only one person outside your home to take 20 minutes of exercise
which is what i mentioned, one person at one time, i will meet her if the rain holds off for a takeway coffee, which is what we have been doing for a while now. once a week is better than nowt.
morning everyone. hope you are all keeping well.
have we heard how either Boaty or Minty are?
It is sunny with blue skies here but no breeze unfortunately. Now got two loads of washing out but going to leave woollies for another day as I don't think they will dry.
Hope you have a good meet up with your friend emmie. will be nice for you to get out and have a real-life chat instead of a cyber one.
morning LJ, it will, we tend to meet at weekends for a hour, as she is spending time trying to home school her children, do her job as well plus all the other things one needs to do to run a home. her husband is a good cook so that helps.
that's good emmie. she'll have loads to tell you and it will be good for both of you. We all need an interest outside ourselves and meeting with others is good for us. have a lovely time.
No blow here today Bobbi. Lovely blow yesterday but it kept bringing in squalls of rain and sleet so not the best to peg out. Most unusual not to have some sort of breeze here. varies from 'nail down the hatches' to something pleasant. Woollies will just have to wait. don't want them hanging around wet.
Morning all, you certainly have a way with words Bobbi lol. Snowed here yesterday afternoon, started to thaw and froze again overnight, so a bit of a skating rink this morning.
Not brilliantly still in a lot of pain, current painkillers (although morphine based are not strong enough) District Nurse visited yesterday, explained about pain, she said she would speak to GP to see what alternatives are available. Went to chemist got a repeat of old prescription i.e. Oramorph and Tramadol, will get us through the weekend, can't do much now till Monday.
