And the door to my lady bits have been closed for a long time and unless someone comes with a bolt cutter they'll remain closed. Goodnight all - I'm done done done LOL
While i loved reading - and still do - all i can recall doing throughout my 'childhood' is playing football. No matter where we lived, we always managed to find somewhere to play without the risk of breaking windows with those ever-so-stray half volleys:-)
Sqad @ 22:44...that's my ex to a "t". In the 25 years I was with him, I think he read one fiction book. Daughter is the same...and I kept buying her books, assuming she'd love reading as much as I did. Maybe her mild dyslexia played a part.
For some reason, it took me a while to figure reading out. Then I went crazy. I remember my constant withdrawing of books from the school's library being questioned.
Playing with my dolls, I used to be a teacher and they were my pupils. I got a new doll every Christmas until I was 12! My Mum quietly said after that that maybe I was too old for another doll and of course she was right. I also loved reading, like others and playing hopscotch outside with my friends.
When we were about 9 or 10 we used to take neighbours' new babies out for a walk, we'd take the pram round the block a few time and new mothers were grateful of our offers. From what I read today new mothers think they have to be welded to their new babies 24/7, even family are discouraged from visiting the 'little family' for weeks as they 'bond'.
