this is crazy, teaching children so young about genders, apparently there are over a 100 mmm
and i thought there were only two, i can imagine children talking about this in the playground
what they will make of it is anyone guess, confusing absolutely.

No , how can that be when some know from the very earliest age that what people tell them is wrong, that the clothes they have to wear, the name they are called, the life they have to live is so wrong that their life can be a living hell. True gender dysphoria exists, I think it may be rarer than the media would have us believe, and some children do outgrow it as a stage. It is why I am not sure puberty delaying hormones are the right way to go for most young people who say they want to transition. Although it is harder when the secondary characteristics are "set" and being forced to develop into a more defined version of something you don't want to be may cause terrible distress full transition must in my mind be a decision for an adult not a child.

Yes, mozz. Discussion is always good. I agree, rowan. And one thing that worries me, is that 80% of people (over the last 10 years) who are pre-op transsexuals- change their minds- after 3 years on antidepressants. Which seems a huge number to me. And yet, it still isn't a requirement before carving someone up. They only have to live for 2 years "as the opposite sex"- whatever that pretends to mean.
Also... and I hope someone will tell me I'm wrong here- I'm not aware that transpeople even get genetic testing? To see if the reason or explanation might be they are intersex. It isn't PC to ask why.... but why not?

I don't bother anybody and just ask that whatever they call themselves they don't bother me.
They want help? I'll help.
Be friendly? Me too.
But stop hogging the limelight and asking for permission to feed our kids unproven rubbish which has not been audited by any worthy authority, and delivered by people who are educated beyond the level of their own intelligence.
Don't go along with anybody who asks you to be putty and clay to be moulded to the latest fad in correct thinking.
