Parsing problems again. I'm beginning to think this is early onset dementia, because the cerebration is simply not there!
1) Top banks rotten -- something to chew over? (6) TOFFEE, but why does TEE = TOP?
2) Inside pipe,vessel getting lost (8) STRAYING, but why does TRAY = VESSEL?
3) Ring stuck in pocket, mitigate possible cause of embarrassment? (7,7) WHOOPEE CUSHION, but if HOOP = RING and CUSHION= MITIGATE, how does POCKET = WEE?
