Has anyone been to Auschwitz?
It was one of the most harrowing experiences I've ever had seeing those bunks three deep , latrines going through the middle of a 'shed' stories of Dysentery just raining down on the one below , other dreadful tales , this must never happen again ...ever

Yes. I've been to Krakow quite a few times - it's a great, very walkable, city; I always stay in Kazimierz, which was the old Jewish ghetto where the pogroms were, and there's a bar around the corner from the hotel I stay in where, in the courtyard, the wall is still peppered with bullet holes.
