I wouldn't worry too much, NJ: politicians can be as interested as they wish in Science, but clearly most of them are incapable of understanding it. On second thoughts, that's a huge worry, but there we are.

well OK they are but that is not what the data said - A tenth of those vaccinated were over 65 and this was interpreted by people who are paid to know better as protection of 10%
