I think all the soaps are filmed a couple of months in advance although the schedules may be tighter now. Probably playing catch up with any current lockdown rules.

Don't watch The Street...but they do the same on Emmerdale. Nothing to do with current /previous rules...just daft posturing really. Why would you wear masks outside, then take them off when you enter the pub, office, coffee shop etc? Other than to deliver your lines more clearly?
