So Cold.
32 Answers
Had to go to cash point this morning. I decided would go round to daughters to deliver some bits and bobs. Didn't realise how cold it was , I couldn't stand the pain in my hands. Seeing as I would have to talk to her outside I decided to go home instead. Never thought to wear gloves.
Don't think it has ever been as cold.

They shop on ski-doos in the winter. They visit us now and then and on one visit in November when the temperature was about 10 degrees and she was absolutely frozen. She said she couldn’t stand the damp. I was making her hot water bottles!!
Its definitely the damp air, and it works for heat too. I remember coming over to visit my sister, I think it was 2003 and there had been a 'heat wave' in the UK with temperatures in the 30's . We had come from an Albertan Summer which can get quite hot but I couldn't breath with the humidity, everything felt damp too -bed sheets towels etc.
I'm just back getting some essentials ;-) So walked through the local park where some folk and children were feeding Ducks etc... on the frozen Park pond, I couldn't help but give a chortle watching them slip a bit... 'Karma' later closer to home I slipped on black ice, It looked safe stepping back on tarmac... I manage to stay on my feet though, very quick footed.
