Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Yes Re 51 I did realise Bing Crosby was an anagram but it is 10 letters, that was why I thought Perry Como.

No 50 Clue is Girl at Greek city in Maryland. my answer is Annapolis which is 9 letters. IS THIS CORRECT?
No 52 is 9 letters [Hollywood I think] and the obvious answer to 53 is 8 letters

Any comments or thoughts?

I think all those answers are correct. Originally I only thought "Polk" was out of order, but subsequently I believe there are a handful of others also.

The obvious answer to 53 is exactly what Fibonacci put. I can't think of an obvious answer with 8 letters, and the clue says 9 anyway.

I am pretty sure Ivy League (9 letters) is correct
54 though, San Diego is only 8 letters and not in order

If its any consolation I have a few out of order with the number of letters at least some of which would seem to be correct.

Thanks for all your comments and I tend to agree with them, but I am surprised that so many in one area are out of order. I think no 47 is another assuming St Helen's is the correct answer, or is there another solution?

I am also baffled by No 28 - Could be G.W. in Florida. I am assuming GW is Bush but not getting anything. Am I on the wrong track?

Yes - you are on the wrong track -- think music for G and direction for W - if that doesn't help I think its been asked elsewhere on this site
