Bose Radio/Cd Player

The radio is fine but the CD will not play. When I insert a CD 'insert CD' shows on the display. I have given the visible parts a dust down and a few shots of compressed air around the disc reader part thinking there may be some dust on it. The display now shows only 'CD'. There are no user accessible parts. Suggestions welcome! Thanks a lot.

How many different CDs have you tried?

I have tried several CDs all with the same result.
Thanks for your suggestion chelle. I will give it a go tomorrow when I am fully conscious.
