McDonalds in months - yummy! Van was showing the red battery light when I started it so I took the van for a longer run and suddenly found myself staring at the McD's sign going round the roundabout, so did another circuit and nipped in - hilarious trying to give the poor girl my order through the speak thingy with five dogs barking in the background as they could hear her voice! Never used a drive through before, as I always order a plain burger and they have to cook them separately.

At last!
A post that starts with "Just had my first" and it isn't about Covid jabs ;-)
I half-intended to call at a KFC drive-thru at lunchtime today, on my way home from my once a week escape from shielding (a.k.a. shopping in Morrison's). However, I thought that I'd 'be good' and drove straight past, only to get home and realise that there was nothing in my shopping that I actually fancied for lunch :(
I resisted the temptation to drive 6½ miles back but I've got a suspicion that I might have to break out of shielding again to get there before the week is out ;-)

The queue of cars waiting to get into McDonald’s take away causes an obstruction to traffic. Having to wait for burger chewers to get their nosh is irritating. Just so we can go about our business. Never had one since first attempt many years ago. Couldn’t believe people paid for such blatant rubbish.
As to Boiger King....
Ichk noticed that an old couple eating at Burger King were splitting a small hamburger and small fries.
They carefully split the burger and fries down the middle. Ichkwent over to the table and offered to buy them each their own meal, assuming they couldn’t afford two meals.
The old man told him that they share absolutely everything with each other and this is how they eat.
Ichk sat back down at his seat. he then noticed that the old man was waiting patiently while the old woman ate her half of the meal.
He got back up again and asked them if they were sure he couldn’t buy them another meal. The old man reminded him that they share absolutely everything.
"But why aren’t you eating together? Ichk asked. The old man said “I’m waiting for her teeth.”
