Well, would you ever have guessed what a putty plait was?

They say you learn something new every day - and this term is a new one on me. Those with knee or shoulder dislocations will, of course, probably be familiar with this.

I have visions of Pocohontas doing some bathroom tiling....

I will have you know I have just referred a very nice young man with this condition. I have done a tremendous amount of work this morning. As per.....
I had never heard of it. Learnt something from you :). And ive had too many R & L knee dislocations to count - starting age 11 (very painful!!!!!)
Ive had numerous surgeries over the years (starting age 13 and I'm 46 now) for this -

perhaps one of them was the putti - plait?

Latest (which has been the most successful) was deepening the trochlear groove.
