Congratulations on your marriage - don't put your house in joint names.
A friend of mine (W) lived with her daughter (A) in her daughter's house. However, W paid to have the house extended and completely done up, spent thousands .
A met a man and married him after only six months, put house in both their names and after a year he left her and is now after "his" half of the house.
I know I am a pessimist in this but I think you should hang on to your property for some time yet.
Sorry
