I have seen an item on the above and am about to buy - however postage is being charged (like not a big deal) but they offer free postage if I enter 30 day free trial Amazon Prime.
Something like this happened to me before and I was under like a contract to pay every month.
So is this completely free postage - would anybody know.
As I said earlier, when you sign up for the trial, click on your account, then Membership and subscriptions, and you get an option to be reminded a few days before your trial finishes.
I once signed up for Prime and forgot to cancel it - I now figure that paying a few quid for postage is still cheaper than even one month's subscription.
well a wee update - I was getting charged £4.99 for the postage but when I changed to picking up at my post office round the corner - I wasn't charged any postage. That done me lovely.
can't understand the point - the post office and myself are in exactly the same postcode.
sunk obviously didnt cancel as it is absolute hell if you allow to go that late.
[I think this is the one where the cancel button only appears if you cough up £7.99 - and then hem hem they 'allow' you to cancel the sub before it is taken]
no wonder Bezos has $200 bn smackeroonies only ....
yes yes it is! during the trial phase they say you arent subscribing to Prime ( geddit? they havent taken money)
and so there is no cancel the sub button
