A Bit Concerned!

For over a year now I have had an open sore on the back of my left hand. It just won't heal. I do snag it on things like a towel occasionall, I try not to but it's difficult. For over a week now I have had pains in my hand and right up my shoulder. I decided to phone the doctors. Lo and behold I got an appointment at 5.40 today.
He gave it a real going over with some complicated equipment.
He thinks it could be a form of cancer. He is sending photographs to some expert and they will be in touch in about four weeks.
I'm not surprised as it looks very similar to the spot OH had on his nose that was cancerous and he had half his nose removed. It was built back up from skin grafts from his forehead.
So a long wait for an answer.

He also checked my weight. I've discovered my scales re out. I weigh nearly a stone heavier than I thought I did.
Now looking for new scales, the old ones are about thirty years old!

I can understand your concern but youve done the right thing in seeing the doctor. He seems to have been very thorough. X

do other things heal normally - small cuts and so on?

Yes jno never had a problem before.
