He will, no doubt, be sorry to see those animals leave his stables but as long as Gigginstown (owned by the O'Leary's) remain supportive he should be ok. Providing that any punishment for his actions does not include the loss of his licence.

Aunt Polly, i'm not trying to play down the effect CP's decision will have on the stable, but i thought you were inferring there was an exodus of his stables. As he is far more renowned for his National Hunt horses, i don't readily know just how many Cheveley Park juveniles he would have been earmarked for.
Whatever the outcome he has lost Chevely Park Stud as clients. He may be a NH trainer but he trained the unbeaten Bumper horse Sir Gerhard which has now been transferred to Willie Mullins , so he likely has other Stores coming in on a regular basis for Bumpers. I am wondering if the deceased horse was bred by CP, unfortunately I can't check with Wetherby's as they did not release the name.
