Who’s actually going to see their mother and break lockdown rules, and who’s going to be an angel and stick to them??

Aren’t you allowed to see one person?
I can meet a friend as long as its not indoors, lordy...
No, although my Mum lives about 15 minutes walk away and has had both her CV19 jabs, my Dad has only had one.
We have had myriad Builders, Painters & Decorators, Plumbers and Sparkies working at Hat Towers and whilst I am hopeful of my CV19- status, I will wait until 10 days after the last one has left to be certain that I am virus-free.

Ma and Pa live on the third floor of an apartment building and last year, during the first isolation period, I flew a foil-balloon up to their living room window wishing her a Happy Mother's Day. All the neighbours thought it was a) very sweet....or b) barking. :o)
Jack .... with that bunch in your house, I just hope you weren't burdened with ahem ........... lifestyle advice ;o)))))
Lol.....I think I have moved out of the age-bracket where any of them are likely to try.
I'm more of a "would you speak to your mother like that..??" demographic. :o)
You can meet one other person outdoors.

My Mum wouldnt last more than about 10 minutes sitting outdoors in these fresh spring temperatures, and besides its a long journey which is not yet allowed, so no I will not be able to visit.

If my mother were still alive I’d go to see her. Not because either of us were all that mad about M’s day, but I’d just go anyway.

I don’t expect to see my son. I didn’t see him at Christmas so can’t imagine he’d make the trip for something as meaningless as M’s day. I hope I get a card at least though.
;o)))
I live at home with both my parents so I will be seeing my mummy then.
I'm definitely not going to see my mother.

I somehow think that people wouldn't really approve of me visiting the cemetery with a spade ;-)
OK Chris you might get some police tapping on your shoulder.
I won't be seeing my mother unfortunately but I'm taking her on Holiday in November, all being well. That's her Mother's Day present and birthday present rolled into one!
Only wish my mother was here to see
I wish I could go and see my Mum this year. She passed away at the end of January. If anyone reading this has the amazing benefit of having your Mum still alive, just ring her up, and don't leave it till Mother's day. Make the most of her, today and every day. But put your Mum first by respecting that lockdown is in place to protect her too.
Our mothers passed away years ago.
I would imagine our will pop over for a cuppa in the garden and bring me something. Our garden is huge and he will come over the fields to get here. Noone would ever know if we were breaking rules. But we don't. There will be no hugs!!!
Our son!
I would dearly love to see my mum again, Smow. She died in '92 and I still talk to her. I genuinely thank you for bringing her to mind. Thanks. :) x
I'll be seeing my daughter, we are in each other's bubble, she and her husband are making my dinner. Won't see son he lives in NZ!
I always send my daughter a Mother's Day card to say thank you to the best mother my grandchildren could have. I will take that, a bottle of cava and some flowers that I will put on her doorstep.
My children let me know how much they love and appreciate me all the time, and I feel very lucky that they do.
I (and they) don’t need a ‘special day’ to acknowledge it.
