Can anyone tell me where I can rent a villa somewhere in Europe, with a pool, somewhere nice, for just one person (i.e. not pay a fortune for a villa for 4 people!). Looking for a quiet break by myself away from everyone, somewhere nice and hot!

Can I fly if my passport expires in October 2007??

Arguably the best way to approach this, provided you are prepared to live in a flat rather than a detached house, is to take a one bedroom or even a studio flat in a timeshare resort. That way you will have access to pools, saunas and other recreation facilities where you are staying. There will also be facilities for eating out right there if you don't fancy cooking for yourself in what will be a fully equipped flat. Such places are available for rent, usually by the week, and you can find a full description at the resort's own site once you have located the flat you are interested in on the net. Google using such things as "timeshare to rent", "flat or villa to rent", "holiday flat or villa", etc. You should find quite a lot from under �200 upwards for a week depending on time of year, location, size, etc.
