The Apollo 10 Lunar Module was codenamed Snoopy and the Command Module was called Charlie Brown. Apollo 10, carrying astronauts Thomas Stafford, John Young and Eugene Cernan, was launched on 18th May 1969 on a lunar orbital mission, the dress rehearsal for the Apollo 11 landing mission which took place two months later.
