Dave has had a fantastic birthday. He's had so many good wishes from people but the cherry has just landed on his birthday cake.
Dave has adored, from afar and for a long time, Morgana Robinson....played Pippa in The Windsors.

Morgana frequently visits our village to stay with a relative. She is coming for a long summer visit....all being well and safe.

Her relative is a friend of ours and has just asked Dave if he'd like to meet up for a drink with Morgana.

I may have to wipe the smitten smile off his face..... ;-)

For those of you who mentioned cake....yes....I provided a circle of cupcakes surrounding a candle.
When we were opening and pouring the fizz I put on the plate on the bench.

It was a happy toasting...til I stepped back and sat on the cakes... :-(
